Pre-Trip A first timer and a half...

Good afternoon everyone!!!

I'm here to do a Pre-Trip report for everyone!!
Please enjoy!
The Cast: Myself (Rae - 28) and My BF (Chance - 28)
OUTSIDE of Star Wars (which you can see in the pic below we are both BIG fans)
My Favorite Disney movie is The Aristocats :inlove:
When I asked Chance what his was (via text) his answer was - Emperors New Groove, Lilo and Stitch, Wreck it Ralph, The Incredibles, Big Hero 6, and Aladdin. When asked to pick one the response I got was HOW?!?!?!?!

20180809_100809.jpg

(I promise even though he is from West by god, we are NOT related, it just looks like it)

The What: A 4 night 5 day Disney Adventure!
4 day Park hopper ticket
MNSSHP for Oct 23:cat:
Deluxe Dining plan:hungry:

The When: October 22-26 2018

The Where: Disney's Coronado Springs - Water view king room

The Why: Well well well where to begin? Spoiler alert the Pre-Trip title is going to get spoiled very early on...Like now. Chance has never been (He's the first timer!) Me however is the half timer. I went in 2000 for a few hours (Magic Kingdom Only) I was 10 and remember nothing! I went in (I think) 2014 for a few hours (Magic Kingdom only) while I was on a cruise that docked in PCN. Then we get to 2018 I'm now a travel agent. I went on Disney's Agent Education Program in January and Came down with an illness that could only been cured by being able to go on my terms. The AEP was amazing but we had very little down time. If you have any questions about that please let me know and I will be happy to answer. So I really wanted to do two things 1) be able to go and enjoy things that I didn't on my AEP and 2) Take advantage of an agent rate (I may be leaving the business soon).

In summary I hope this gives you a good idea of who we are and why we are going.
See ya real soon to give you are "as of now" Itinerary

WARNING: TEXT heavy posts ahead, continue at your own risk!

Okay so on to the tentative plans for Sunday & Monday morning...

We live in the western part of MD and normally would choose to fly Southwest from BWI. When we decided to take this trip and my agent rates got approved we started looking at air options. Air on SW from BWI was well over $600 RT for both. That's wild from BWI to MCO and we agreed since this was a budget once in a "who knows how long" trip to look at other Airports/Airlines. We ended getting airfare from DCA on American for 300 RT for both. Sidenote: Sometime after this air was booked I got an email from SW about some flight sales and for some reason I love to torture myself and checked. I could have got the RT airfare from BWI on SW for the same price. It was my own fault for looking. I have never flown From DCA or on american so I'm actually looking forward to this. If nothing else as a TA new travel experiences help me. Our plan is to leave Home and drive down on Sunday afternoon. We will be staying at the Springhill Suites in Alexandria Sunday night and will *try* to hit the hay early for our 7:30 Flight. I have pre paid our parking at DCA for 85 dollars for the time. Our landing time in MCO is 9:52. We will only have our carry ons and plan on heading straight to the DME! On to the Parks!! Follow along now...

There are a couple Springhills in Alexandria so make sure you go to the right one. They may let you park there for free instead of paying at the airport.
Thanks, I know there are so many Marriott's in general. This one doesn't offer parking and we prefer to have our car right at the airport and not wait for transfers, especially when coming home.
