Pre-Trip A first, a last, and a galaxy far, far, away... (Now with bonus London TR!)

🐝 BEE IS GOING BACK! 🐝 BEE IS GOING BACK! 🐝 BEE IS GOING BACK! 🐝​

So, this title might be a bit misleading. There are actually several firsts planned for this trip, and a semi-first. But "A first, another first, yet another first, a sorta first, and a last" doesn't roll off the tongue (or fingertips) so well.

For now, I'll leave you with the cast.

Me (Bee): 30
DW (M): 30
M's mom (MIL)
M's dad (FIL)
M's brother (BIL): 27
My brother (Jay): 24

Our next trip  

EDIT: Now we're doing a Passholder preview and going down early for two nights, then flying home, then proceeding with our regular trip as planned. So, here's THAT countdown:

Twelve hours ago at 3:00am we finally got to bed after a long delay getting home last night. And twelve hours from now at 3:00am we'll be waking up to get to the airport for the Big Trip™️!!! I finished teaching for the day and I am getting to work on packing! M works until 6 and we'll finish packing tonight and *HOPEFULLY* go to bed early tonight!

Believe me, I would have LOVED that! M really needed to go in to work today since her semester starts as soon as we get back from the Big Trip™️ and she basically runs the scheduling for her whole department. And I don’t have any PTO as a freelancer, so it was worth it to come back and work today. 🙂

I don’t know how “influencers” and instagrammers and youtubers and what have you take nice photos of their manicures. I tried very hard but this was the best I could get:
