A few questions , please

We’ve been to DLP for both the 20th and 25th anniversary celebrations. We’d love to go back this year for the 30th as well.

With the DL Hotel , our favorite resort, being closed for awhile, would anyone recommend we plan on staying at Newport instead of the NY hotel? I know one is nicer and/or closer to the parks than the other.

Also with COVID still around, do hotels no longer offer breakfast buffet packages with room stays? How about early entry? We are just not too familiar with current protocols both in Paris or at the parks. We are however vaccinated and boostered up. This leads me to the next question… How do refunds work on prepaid packages if the park or country shut down unexpectedly again?

We’ve stayed at the NY and Newport recently. Both are lovely, given the choice again personally I’d say Newport. I prefer the theme and atmosphere, though if you can afford the difference by all means try the NY. It’s far better than before the refurb.

Breakfast may be offered at club level still (I don’t know) but the “free” dining (half board / full board) now has to be paid for. Thank Chapek.

EMH is still included, though recently the studios has been on the weekend only. Hopefully that will revert to normal as things improve.

Book via Disney and you can change or cancel 7 days before arrival. Not sure about via 3rd parties. If I remember when borders closed you could get a refund up to the arrival day. And of course if they close they refund or rebook you.
