A Fantasmic! Question....

So I'm rockin out to the sounds of Fantasmic right now, and a little lightning bolt struck across my brain and a question has come up. The last 3 times I was at Disneyland (June 2003, May 2004 and July 2004) The Giant Ursula was absent. Though I never really thought much of it, and though it never really bothers me when I'm there, or even right now for that matter... I'm just curious as to what happened to it, and when/if it will be back? Anyone know?

The Giant Ursula, I'm afraid, will never see another Fantasmic show. It was plagued by so many technical problems that they finally just ditched it in favor of the video a few years back.

( i perfer the Ursula float... much mroe better.... makes the water screens seem more special... and the one at MGM...)

I do prefer the float as well, but Disneyland's version still doesn't even come close to over-using the water screens like the MGM version does.
