I didn't like the wand, don't like leave a legacy, don't like the hat at DHS, don't like the merchandising of main street....

A surprise!
First off, I have never been to Disneyland or DCA...I have never seen the Electrical Parade in person....nor did I see the similar WDW version. I've only seen Spectromagic...which I do enjoy.
I have however over the years researched, looked at photos, and watched videos of Disneyland's electrical parade over the corse of it's many years since 1972.
On friday, June 12 Disney's Electrical Parade debued with some updates.
First and foremost, I thought I was going to hate the music.....I DON'T!
I LOVE how fresh the tokyo disneyland music is. It has some timelessness to it, but it's so clean, and offers many different tones and underscores for all the different floats.
I also love the many new lighbulbs and LED lights. The pixie dust effect, IMO does not detract from the floats as the effect only happens once and a while...so you see the floats before and after pixification.
Great to see Pinochio and the dwarf mine back.
Here's what I HATE....I mean HATE.
1.) Tinkerbell leading the way....sure no problem....What's with the balloon?! She's a fairy...she can fly....She should just be purched on the leaf pedastle that's all.
2.) Blue Fairy is gone......this was such an integral part of the show...Disney if you're reading this....there is no reason why the Blue Fairy can't be behind the Snow White floats and then lead the way for the two Pinocchio floats that would follow her.
3.) Dumbo is gone....this is rediculous....they bring back some floats and sacrifice others....just bring back Dumbo and the Blue Fairy and you'll have nearly the entire Parade except for the small world floats. The dumbo floats were very interactive...the clowns would interact with the guests watching the parade....this really needs to come back.
As of now I'm 70% like the new parade 30% irked by it.
