A Dining Plan Question

I'm booked at AoA from Dec 7 2013 till Dec 14 2013, with a Magic Your Way Plus Premium Dining package.

My question is when will my Dining credits start. When I check in?

I'm going to fly into Orlando early on the 6th, go to Universal, and stay somewhere outside Disney that night, before heading over to AoA on the 7th.

I'm just wondering for what meal on the 7th i'll have to start planning to use my Dining credits.

Yes, you get all your dining credits as soon as you check in.

yes essentially it does not matter what meal you use the credits for, its just the value and whether or not the restaurant participates in the dinning plan

You can check in starting at, I believe, 7am. Your room may not be ready till after 3, but you can get your room key, dining plan credits and park tickets before that.

Cool. I guess I'll do ADRs based on that, and check closer to the date of my arrival if this is the case, thanks.

We always check-in around 9am and then head straight to EPCOT to use DDP points at Sunshine Seasons for breakfast. You can start using your park tickets and dining points immediately after check-in even if your room isn't ready yet.

The credits are tied to your KTTW. So once you have your KTTW, you can start using your credits. They are good til midnight the day you check out.

Yes it is effective as soon as you check in. The # of dining credits goes by the # of nights you are there. So for instance. If you are there for 7 days and 6 nights, and you had the regular dining plan, each member of your pary would have a total a 6 sit down meals. 6 quick service meals and 5 snacks to use however you chose during your stay.

I apologize for bringing back an old thread. I was wondering if I did an online check in, does that mean I can start using the dining plan as soon as I arrive?

You can use it anytime on your first day.
