It's the different ride smells, that never seem to change, like:
  • PoTC water
  • The mist from the Aliens scene in GMR
  • Burning Rome
  • Even Figment's skunk... maybe not
  • etc...

I also love the smell of a familiar WDW resort (the lobby, the food court, etc...)

Speaking of oranges, I'll never forget when I was in Morocco at the WS and the trees in the courtyard were at their peak blossoming (are they lemon trees? orange trees?) The whole area smelled like citrus. I forever associate the smell of citrus fruits with the WS now. I've been back to the Morocco area twice since then and it hasn't smelled that way since, unfortunately.

I know the scent of the Christmas shop has been mentioned....but my last two times there I could swear it was de-scented with just lingering whiffs of years gone by.

Am I just mis-remembering things? Or has the scent been cut as a cost saving measure??

im with most here agreeing that the oranges of soarin is a great disney wiff..to add i alao like the smells that remind me that im in disney, which arent always "good" smells. for instance, the water in small world or pirates, though "weird" very recognizable. also, the smell of the smoke after the explosions at the indiana jones stunt show, the smell of the shops on main street and the pollution from the parking trams...i know, all weird stuff but because i can only smell these things in the world it makes them special to me :)

Ok, I don't know if this is a permanent thing but anyway.

Disney & Co shop at DHS.

I was there yesterday and as soon as I walked in this amazing smell just hit me. It wasn't perfume of cologne, it spread through the entire shop. Like I said, not sure if it's permanent. Anyone know?

Today while making cranberry orange relish for dinner tonight I had to peel quite a few oranges. That wonderful orange smell always makes me think about Soarin over the orange groves!:) Which in turn got me wondering. What's your favorite aroma at Disney?
I LOVE the way the gingerbread house at GF smells. THAT IS CHRISTMAS!
The Boardwalk after a hard rain
I also love the way Basin smells, but it makes me sad :(- signals it's "time to go home"

It didn't really smell like it used to when we were there in March- maybe they slowly increase it over the year and put it to full power in Nov Dec LOL!
