Couldn't the Friendship Boats be considered Ferry Boats, getting you from one side to the other - so I will say None of the above as my answer. :drevil:

I considered the friendship boats to be "boats" and the ferry boat to be like the one that takes you from the TTC to MK or, like the Liberty Square Riverboat. :)

This was my reasoning as well for the question
The correct answer is Ferryboat but RU42 brought up a good point because I was not specific enough so I am giving you both points for this one, sorry for the discrepancy...
Great Job TiggerBW and RU42!!

The PUBLIC opening was Monday July 18, 1955. The Opening of DL was in fact the 17th but that was by invitation only. (Even tho the invites were duplicated and DL had insanity on their hands.)

The park opened at 10:00 Monday morning. (On the 17th the opening time was 2:30pm.)

I’m sorry that I have not been on in the last two days. I actually took a very unexpected visit to the world and that is why I have been out. Because of the two missed questions, I am going to do a relay for the questions that were missed because of my absence. Only ONE person answer Thursday’s missed question and that first answer will be the ONLY one accepted. When someone has answered Thursday’s question I will post Friday’s and the same rule will apply for it. When someone has answered Friday’s I will then post tonight’s question and normal rules will be back in place. I am again, sorry for being out on such short notice, let’s get back to it, shall we??

The attraction opened to the public for limited previews during certain hours of the day on December 19, 1998.

The signs on both sides of the entrance area were changed again in early March 1999. Test Track's grand opening was on March 17, 1999 with the ride operating all day long everyday.

The answer is true.

I was just posting my answers for the fun of it to tease my friend TiggerBW, but.....saying that anything that is by invite only can be equated with being public is a bit of a far stretch. That is a further stretch then my ferry boats at Epcot.

I am not looking for points, just throwing that out there because I haven't had near enough sleep over the past couple days.

Can I make a suggestion, do with it as you will...

Most of your questions are relatively simple. Many of the people in this channel are trivia pros; some even moderate disney trivia sites. And your rule of only 1 answer makes the game pretty boring. That is why I have been looking for the off-the-wall answers. Otherwise there is nothing to do.

I would suggest toughen up the questions up. Instead of what was the day that Disneyland opened the gates to outside people it could have been what were the names of first 2 people from the public that entered the park. Bonus point if you can name the gift they received.

See, most people here know the 7/17 date but many probably don't know, off hand, then names of the kids.

Or a thought would be that whoever gets the answer first gets 3 points and anyone that concurs gets 1 point. That offers people a reason to play. Right now the person that gets the points is the person that happens to be online when you post the question. Look at some of the questions; they lasted 6 mins, 4 mins, and 7 mins. A couple make it to about an hour.

Just soemthing to think about. It is a great idea - I just wanted to toss out something I think might help the appeal of the game. Take it or leave it - I just toss it out there.
