Great story. I do remember now reading about the 2000th ride, so that makes it even nicer to read about again.

Great for Ben! and much fun for the parents too!! :ROFLOL:

Hope to soon hear about 3000 and beyond.

Ron, thanks for sharing this article! Ben is very lucky to have both of you for parents. And kudos to you both for remaining such terrific parents, even though you are no longer a couple. That shows incredible grace - and steadfast commitment to doing what's best for Ben.:sohappy:

I remember SW1K and was thrilled to hear about SW2K. This article proves that Disney World is truly where magic lives.

Thank you for sharing this! :)

Great article. I have an eleven year old autistic son and his twin has Asberger's Syndrome (also on the spectrum) and WDW really, truly is a magical place for them. I rarely see real joy in his eyes but it's very apparent when we're in the Magic Kingdom although he likes all the parks. I am seriously thinking of moving to the Orlando area when they graduate from high school and I graduate from nursing school. Thanks for sharing this. Christine

Thanks for that link. I'm sending off to my sister in law right now ... she's visiting WDW in June with her severely autistic 10 year old son. All parents of autistic kids need a boost now and again ... it's a frustrating existence.
