Our August trip is coming up quickly. We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas for 10 days.
Two questions in particular. We are using Tiffany Towncars from airport to Disney. I know I can request a stop at the grocery store. Has anyone else ever done this and did you have enough time to get what you needed? I have also read that you can apply for the grocery stores frequent buyer like card so that you can get extra savings. And is the store a Piggly Wiggly or something like that. Can you tell this is our first trip?
Going along that same line of questioning, has anyone ever shipped a box of non-perishables to their resort? DH and I follow a low carb lifestyle and the kids are pretty easy to please when it comes to food. I figure I can find the things we like to eat up here at probably a lower price than near WDW. We don't plan on spending alot on dining while we are on site. Food is just not a big priority with us. I'm sure we will find a few places to eat, at least for the experience, but we do plan on eating most of the time in our suite.
Thanks for your help. We are really getting excited about going. After 15 years of marriage and two kids (10 and 7), this is our first really really big vacation and we can all hardly wait.
The kids don't even want to look at any pictures of Disney, because they both say they want to be really surprised when we get there!
