A/C problems at Polynesian Bungalows

They are not a hotel rooms. They are accomdations in the Disney Vacation Club. If they are booked using DVC points there isn't daily housekeeping. If they are rented by cash then there is daily housekeeping. The offer of housekeeping is to those who are staying on DVC points.
What's the reasoning behind no mousekeeping for DVC in way more expensive rooms though? Isn't no housekeeping a reason to NOT become a DVC member?

And you would be wrong.
Um, no, I'm really not. The less money someone has the less likely they're going to get a house cleaner. You think people working minimum wage are the people buying up housecleaning services? This relation works the opposite way, too. The more income someone has the less of a gouge it is in their finances. They're more likely to have bigger houses with more income and a bigger house is more work to clean. The more money someone has the more free they are to spend it on luxuries. Whether or not it's a huge leap and is a constant rate the higher you go is another discussion but it's pretty clear cut that if you put this on a graph the relation between income and housecleaners would be a positive slope. I literally don't see how you could argue otherwise.

Also I'm pretty sure xdan was joking with his comment.

If he was being sarcastic he would have used the COMIC SANS font.
Or the sarcasm sign

I do actually want this addressed if he actually does do this work. I don't care if you're going to dispute him claims based on post history (people change jobs so it has to be something really unique to mean he has no possibility of being an engineer) but I'm already sick of this snarky and condescending attitude.
Then use the ignore feature if your bubble is so important.

@ford91exploder has lied enough about routine arguments and been unable to produce proof of his most basic claims that calling into question everything he says isn't a stretch. There is a good shot at this point that he's never even been to WDW, much like the oil to his vinegar, @jt04.

I do apologize that you feel the need to stand up for our village fabricator, but he's a big boy (or girl) and can take care of himself. He is armed with the all knowing powers of Google after all.

Fair enough but I meant I want Ford to verify his work experience. That's a much more meaningful post than "Lol no you didn't"

The cost of the room in DVC terms is the purchase of your interest in the Vacation Club and the on going maintenance fees on those points. How you use the points (longer stay in smaller room in less desirable location or shorter stay in larger room in more desirable location) is the only measure of "more expensive." Regardless of the kind of room you use your points on the housekeeping is a fixed schedule of after 4 days a trash/towel clean and after 8 days a full clean.

The reasoning is that in this arrangement the members are paying for any cleaning services in their dues as part of a contract they read and signed before buying. Since points can potentially be used at any resort or room the housekeeping is normalized. The ultra rich you are wondering about have the option to pay a fee each day for housekeeping.

If the person is renting the bungalow with cash direct from Disney they are paying more per night than the DVC member (based on the life of the contract) and getting housekeeping daily. If they are using DVC then services at a time share are limited. Like buying a summer home - it usually doesn't come with staff unless you pay for them over and beyond the house.

Then we have reached an accord.

I assume based on your join date that you may not have been lurking here long. @ford91exploder doesn't verify anything. He makes a false statement, when pushed makes a claim that he found the information on a secret or pay walled website, when pushed for that information does not reappear in the thread. This has been going on for years. At this point, it's just easier to just acknowledge that you understand he lying and move on.

You should google, if you are unfamiliar with it, what a mass spectrometer is. Then ask yourself what does a network engineer need with one. You'll find it's a bit like asking what does God need with a starship.
