A/C in the Contemporary

Hi,

going to be arriving at the Contemporary on Monday. Wife and I like the room ice cold. I assume the thermostat there is motion activated. Any way to override that so it stays on all the time? I have seen other threads about this at other Disney hotels....

we stayed in the garden wing back in August and the room was always cold when we returned during the day (or night).

So the thermostat is not motion controlled? I hate when you just can't keep it blowing cold air constantly!

The air goes off when there is no movement in the room.
Here's what we do:
Bring a small fan. Buy a Mylar balloon and tape it down somewhere in front of the fan. The Balloon waves around and tricks the system into thinking there's someone walking around in the room and therefore the air doesn't shut off and the room remains cool all the time.
