News Yachtsman Steakhouse and Crew's Cup Lounge at Disney's Yacht Club to close for refurbishment

As part of the ongoing refurbishment at Disney's Yacht Club, Disney has announced Yachtsman Steakhouse and Crew's Cup Lounge will temporarily close for a refresh in 2026.

Details:

• Crew's Cup Lounge will close on February 23 and is expected to reopen in May 2026.
• Yachtsman Steakhouse is set to close in May and is expected to reopen in August 2026.

I'm sure it's wishful thinking but would love if they returned to the days of Crews Cup opening at noon and offering a burger and sandwiches. It probably didn't do enough business during the day to justify it, but I appreciated it as an option. Yachtsman is definitely due for a decor refresh.

The last time I was at the Yachtsman, dinner went on for far too long and one of my party was not having any luck with her dinner coming out right. Previous visits though all went off well and I hope that they keep the charm of the Crew's Cup. Marie

Haven’t been to Bourbon yet but the menu doesn’t appeal. Yachtsman is far better than Steakhouse 71, albeit a little old fashioned. STK is overpriced. La Cellier is usually good. What is your favorite?

The names of the other dining options at Yacht are so convoluted and extra. And so confusingly similar. Why not just "The Market" quick service and then Ale & Compass for the restaurant??!

We just dined at Bourbon Steak a few weeks ago and thought that it was very average and didn’t think the menu was that special. The cheesecake for dessert was the best part. But other than that meh. YMMV. I still enjoy Yachtsman but it definitely needs a refresh, I just hope they don’t make it boring and sterile.

The wedge salad is amazing at Bourbon, as well as the beignets. I’ve had the lobster pie which was huge, and the new york strip was great.
