Oh the air traffic thing?

Yeah…not gonna get into that too much

Some people won’t get their magicy experiency things…temporarily…it will probably get worked out somewhat quickly now…based on patterns

The cancellations aren’t even necessary and just a move from those in charge to inflict more pain to force concession.

The ATCs will still have to go to work, just slightly less planes to talk to in a given hour.
Point of order…

They’re calling in sick because they haven’t been paid for a month…which happens every single time they are not paid. As with anywhere

We don’t chain them to their stations…cause that would be “bad”…I swear

As one of those people who also hasn’t been paid in a month and is still going in to work, I’m well acquainted with their circumstances.

The callout surges started a week or so ago, those in control just waited till now to start making minor cuts to flights after losing an edge on negotiating power.
Thank you. I know it is hard and incredibly stressful for you and please know there are people who appreciate what you are doing.

I have a friend who’s a civilian contractor and they just received an email saying to return to their normal shift affective immediately, sounds like it’s officially over.
Similar notice has been informally communicated by various federal agencies otherwise previously shut down or limited in activity to reestablish the need for services across various contractors as well.
