With these new walls basically affecting a huge portion of the park, this will be pretty bad... Constuction Walls in the Dinoland area only affect that small loop... This feels like pretty much half the park....The walled off sections will be completely unavoidable....And I feel like this is going to be a very long build... Unless they start cutting the scope back.

Um... the walls are covering areas guests could never walk through, so how exactly is this going to impact the guests experience outside of sightlines? I get complaining about EPCOT central hub's walls as they heavily inconvenienced guests and forced tons of unnecessary steps if you wanted to get anywhere. These walls will leave guest flow exactly as it's been.

After looking at all this stuff, the Piston Peak National Park area doesn't look so big after all.
Yeah, I think people are forgetting that you could do an illustration of Big Thunder Mountain in that “fun map style” and have just as many “places and details” as the Piston Peak illustration.

“Here is the Big Thunder Mountain mining operation with its main offices and dynamite storage! Over here are all the geysers! Here’s a whole flooded town called Tumbleweed! This part of the caverns includes hundreds of rainbow pools! This gulch here has a whole lot of critters! On this rise look out for rattlesnakes, tortoises and a goat that’s eating dynamite! This cave here is at risk of collapsing! And this whole cliffside here is full of dinosaur bones!”

It could be very possible that the entire piston peak attraction has everything that they list on that fun map, but what they are showing off as huge landmarks could really be elements that take up a few dozen square feet each.

Or to put it another way, big thunder will probably still be bigger than piston peak.

Using this old saved aerial I had as a reference...

#5 near the backstage marina and BTMR is completely gone now. Just dirt that remains at the defunct launch site.
Also looks like they added some landscaping and shubs around #3.

Makes me wonder if they will develop new pyro sites as part of the Villains Land project.

At Lauch site #3 is that's where a dark ride should fit (behind Haunted Mansion). I still hope there is a castle/backdrop between 3 and 4, so they can utlize HEA fireworks for a show.

#3 and #2 both came online with Project Nugget, to coincide with Disney Enchanment.

They should've built both across the street to account for future expansion like this.

But I have a feeling like those are fine/safe. If #3 would need to move to accommodate the Villans land expansion, so would the decades-old #1 launch site.

Same thing for #4, they should've moved it in 2021, adjacent to the street instead of refurbishing it and adding a cement base to it.

I'm still sad we lost #5 and the mirrored launch site next to Tron. Not only were they not moved/replaced, but those 2 perimeter sites were detrimental to the seasonal Halloween and Christmas fireworks.

Maybe they will do away with fireworks altogether and just have castle projections and drones by then?

Drones are much less expensive than fireworks and more friendly to the environment.
