The increase in the number of extreme heat events over the past few years in Orlando is one of the reasons Summer is now basically low season.
Or people have other options and don't need to subject themselves to the heat. Florida in shoulder months is wonderful but for three weeks in winter and five months in summer it is uninhabitable and the word is out.

I find myself debating what’s “better”?

Real feel of 105 here where it’s ugly…or real feel of 113 in magic kingdom and watching the polyester clad employees trying to look busy all day?

🤔

In my opinion, humidity is the issue in FL in both the extreme heat and the extreme cold.

In my opinion, it always feels hotter ( and colder) when its humid.

I have never experienced a dry heat or a dry cold but I hear both feel better because they are dry.

3/4 of the US are under conditions that are far from “dry heat”…the Humidity is well above the norm for the entire eastern half
