News Walt Disney World to add glow in the dark logos to monorails

Walt Disney World has shared the monorails are getting a new feature this week, which allows the logo on each train to glow in the dark:

It's not wrong. The monorails are plagued with so many issues. They are long overdue for a complete overhaul.

They've been getting overhauls for the past 5 years with the internal components and a refreshed interior, new monorails aren't planned anytime soon.

As for the monorails, this could actually look neat, no need to let the perfect be the enemy of the good. Better a good looking hunk-a-junk than a plain one.

1. Calling for new monorails instead of continuing to keep 30 year old trains running a decade-plus past their mechanical life but instead slapping LED lights underneath and glow in the dark stickers on them isn’t negative, it’s pragmatic.

Inside the park is safe…Those out of print, carbon hawg choochs running in the rain around the lagoon?

The leash isn’t unlimited on those. We’ll see their day too

Especially if they can save a buck and do somekinda IP tie in to a few empty stations?
