Flashy new advertising material maybe? That’s why I was curious about how booked out they are. It’s pretty decent but there’s plenty of big gaps in the public schedule

I wonder if their rental fees are just that high or if there are other factors involved. Losing the Atlanta Braves spring training had to also be a big blow, which makes me wonder about pricing.
Easy to understand, Disney seems to think that they are so invincible that no matter what they charge people (teams) will fall all over themselves and pay whatever the Disney gods demand.

There are a lot of teams (club/high school/college) that are purposefully avoiding FL.

Wow. I had no idea. Makes sense why rD keeps increasing fees and losing benefits - they have to make up for shortfalls elsewhere in the division.

Pricing had nothing to do with the Braves leaving. They moved because North Port gave them a sweet deal on a new spring training complex and the location is closer to other MLB spring training facilities. Less expense and travel time.

Poor wording on my part. Losing the Braves had to hit their bottom line, so it was more of a "did they raise their other fees to compensate for the loss of revenue?" kind of thing.

I always wondered what the draw was for the Braves to hold their spring training there, being at least rather far from most other teams' stadiums.
