My suggestion is that WDW remove tomorrow land speedway and add Carousel of Progess 2.0. I would add on to the timeline, leaving the original as is. It seems impossible to submit directly to Disney imagineering because of fear of litigation over allegedly stolen ideas. I seek no compensation, would sign a release if called upon but this idea is pretty generic and maybe suggested before.

We had that already, it was called Horizons. It was where Mission: Space is located in EPCOT.

Horizons wasn't exactly Carousel of Progress 2.0, but it did feature scenes of future living that were a kind of sequel to Carousel of Progress. It was one of the best attractions at WDW, though.

I'd absolutely love a Carousel of Progress addition -- return the original to the way it was when it opened, and then build a new one with scenes from the 80s, 2000s, etc., but they're definitely not going to do that.

I worked for TWDC in a retail capacity for 4+ years. I had an idea for a portion of a waterpark slide. I called Disney legal in NYC, no less. No dice. They won’t accept ideas from their own people, much less outsiders, so there’s no release that even needs to be signed. They’ll only accept design ideas from specific creatives employed as such, and regarding specific projects they’ve been assigned to…that’s what I was told, at least.
Also, if you see them develop something that sounds like/looks like/resembles an idea you had years ago, they’ve probably already had it, and it was already probably thrown out there, and/or is sitting on a shelf, in some form or fashion. If you work for Disney, anything you create is a work for hire, and is theirs…as it is with most all companies, by contract.
Since I’d never get credit for it anyway, a pic of my idea below…!!! ;):)
