Disney's Blizzard Beach Hosts Month-Long 30th Anniversary Celebration Before Typhoon Lagoon Reopens

I like the DJs for special events. I wonder what songs this one will play for this event.Stop putting DJs everywhere! The music on the loop was chosen for a reason!
Everything else sounds AWESOME and I will be there a bunch of times! I love Blizzard Beach; I'm so happy to see them give it something special! I think this is even the little push I needed to buy that "Snow much fun!" shirt I've had my eye on.
Any chance this what the Baked Alaska on the Lottawotta Lodge menu is for? It was added in November 2024 but you're not actually able to order it. Maybe it'll be an option during April?
Question for the pixie dusters and shills:The app calendar shows BB closed May 1 and onward, which is sad.
You are attacking a strawman no one thinks it is perfect and “so great” we just don’t complain about every little thing.Question for the pixie dusters and shills:
If everything is so great at the world's largest themed resort, why can't Disney operate both of their award-winning waterparks during the peak waterpark season?
@Sirwalterraleigh please no hints for our contestants.
When it gets to the level of intentionally keeping a park closed, you're being disingenuous by just simply shrugging it off and labeling a person a hater. Here we go again attacking a strawman no one thinks it is perfect and “so great” we just don’t complain about every little thing.
Don’t get me wrong it is a problem but using this strawman continually is pointless. you will not find a single person on this board who doesn’t have something against Disney. When it gets to the level of intentionally keeping a park closed, you're being disingenuous by just simply shrugging it off and labeling a person a hater.
This is not like keeping a restaurant or attraction/pavilion or part of a hotel closed where you can just pretend it's not a problem.
I'm No Insider but You would think!!!!One would assume that this would be The summer to have both open, yes? Especially with a new theme park and all opening nearby.
Assumptions are dangerousOne would assume that this would be The summer to have both open, yes? Especially with a new theme park and all opening nearby.
No one is (or should be) saying everything is great but water parks aren't a great indicator of anything other than how few people care about water parks. I know some really love them, but they just don't get the numbers to justify both parks being open.Question for the pixie dusters and shills:

But the parks are MOBBED!!!No one is (or should be) saying everything is great but water parks aren't a great indicator of anything other than how few people care about water parks. I know some really love them, but they just don't get the numbers to justify both parks being open.
Anyway, there are a whole host of other things we can point to as issues, I don't think this one is very high up the list.
Those days are long gone. Their water park marketshare plummeted and they essentially just handed the business to Volcano Bay. It's now at the point where you'd struggle to get one of them to capacity let alone 2.One would assume that this would be The summer to have both open, yes? Especially with a new theme park and all opening nearby.
Wdw is in the worst shape from an operational and PR standpoint it has been since at least 2002You are attacking a strawman no one thinks it is perfect and “so great” we just don’t complain about every little thing.
I love both their Parks…because they were ingenious had consistent themes when built. Very well doneThose days are long gone. As usual all down to refusal to invest and incompetence.
Ok I would argue that things are at least slightly better than the chapek years but in any case what you said does not disprove my point .Wdw is in the worst shape from an operational and PR standpoint it has been since at least 2002
And I’m pulling my punches some/going easy because it was way more enjoyable in 2002
Next to nothing has been done to compromise those themes bar the frozen retheme of tikes peak which was unnecessary but that’s it.I love both their Parks…because they were ingenious had had consistent themes when built. Very well done
But the case can be made they lag behind aquatica and volcano bay now…for sure
