Trip Report Happy New Year! Semi-Live TR

Hi friends! I’m back and I barely remember how to do a TR but I am in WDW now to start the year off right!

Any fellow Sunny fans here? This is what I felt like doing after our flight was delayed over two hours and our bags showed up at the wrong carousel

Guess where we’re staying?

Did you guess we’re staying at the Swan? Of course you did, you genius!

View from the room:

We were upgraded to a resort view since I’m a Marriott Gold Elite member!

We walked over to the Boardwalk hoping to get a slice of pizza, but the line was LOOOOOOOONG!

We caught some fireworks!

We made a reservation for Trattoria al forno…

And were seated almost half an hour after the reservation time

But the drinks and food were worth it!

M noticed that multiple tables were being balanced by various items…including literal trash

It was a great first day!

It was the Tuscan Sour and it was delicious! I had the Sparkling Hibiscus which was surprisingly complex and also delicious!

Close! I couldn’t finish my gnocchi and our server suggested a cup so it would fit in the fridge and we could microwave it

Rosa Mexicano, new favorite breakfast buffet in all of WDW! If you go you MUST get the waffles with the cinnamon whipped cream! And the potatoes are to DIE for. I am still salivating over them.

The gnocchi there is good so I can understand taking it to go. But a roadie would have been fun too.

Dinner last night at Amare (incredible!!!) followed by some excellent in-room entertainment (photos got out of order on mobile, oops )

Morning/early afternoon at DHS. Saw Indy then ate at Docking Bay 7. Rise was down all morning but we hopped on line almost as soon as it opened and waited about an hour. Then Muppets, now taking a break.

Following! We visited WDW last year at this time so very interested in your trip one year later!

Back to the park!

We experienced the SLOWEST service ever at Anaheim Produce. We really wanted churros but they didn’t have many and our side of the line was taking way longer than the other side. When we got to the front there was only one left So I had a Mickey pretzel and let M have the churro. But the SSSLLLOOOWWW service meant we barely had time to drink the Kona Longboard I ordered before catching the last BatB show, soooo that’s what’s in the mug above

Dinner at Sci Fi!

Photo are terrible because it’s dark in there lol. But I had the Spicy Martian Margarita, Wedge Salad (no bacon), and Impossible Nachos. M had the Orbiting Oreos and Impossible Burger. We were both impressed with all the food and enjoyed both drinks.
