Here's the statement from Disney on the refurbishment:

The Hall of Presidents will temporarily close for refurbishment on January 20, 2025, and is expected to reopen later in 2025.
For comparison, HOP closed January 20, 2021, and opened the following August, an eight month refurbishment. Here's the news item about it.

More country bear jamboree laps for me!

Long live COP. hope it gets some love. It isn’t my favorite personally but i understand that many others do love it and it has important history. Not that I don’t like it.
I actually like CB(M)J but have to be cautious admitting that here! And, of course, the tiki room!

I remember being so annoyed with COP the first time I went on it (mostly because my travel party was singing the song for the next three days but over the years I’ve grown to appreciate it.

Yeah! Me too! I’m very glad the bears have a quality redo. Makes me hopeful for the future of redos and for test track. Tiki room is great too.
Hot take: think a lot of people don’t like new stuff and changes mainly because it isn’t what they rember and are nostalgic for and don’t like that change in such a treasured and memory filled place for them. People also have rose tinted glasses for many older stuff at the parks too. I have to be very careful saying this too though.

I can't remember, but is Grover Cleveland mentioned twice in the roll call of presidents in the show, or skipped over between Benjamin Harrison and William McKinley, since his name would have already been mentioned before Harrison? It's a little less awkward in that case because those presidents all died more than a century ago. Since the sitting president has a speaking part, they'll have to bring Trump up twice. It'll be interesting to see how that is done.

Or they could have a Muppets show in there. :joyfull:

He is not. He is mentioned once. (See HOP video where Grover Cleveland is introduced after Chester A. Arthur not Benjamin Harrison.) I would suspect the order of mention for 2025 - January 20, 2029 would be Barack Obama, Joseph Biden, Donald Trump. When a new President assumes office in 2029, the order will probably return to Barack Obama, Donald Trump, Joseph Biden, new President.
