I couldn’t find a thread on this, but there absolutely should be one. Not an accident Monsters Inc. was decided to replace Muppets and not Animation Courtyard.

Simpsons is so completely off-brand for any Disney theme park...
So Disney owns it now...they own a ton of their own IP they let languish that could be producing....
But Simpsons if just wrong.... Especially since it has a history of being a Universal Theme park IP.
It would be a terrible idea.

I don’t necessarily disagree but clearly nothing is off the table. This got more buzz than anything in years at Disneyland.

I definitely expect it will happen. 2028 is not that far away, and The Simpsons is miraculously still relevant (and increasingly relevant among younger generations) plus i'm sure the company is very, VERY keen on the food & beverage revenue Universal is getting from their Springfield areas. Let's just hope it's something genuinely immersive and not another screen-based ride.

I don't see how you make a Simpsons ride that isn't screen based... I feel like the Disney Sea's Peter Pan ride system may work well, but Simpsons really needs to be heavily screen based to work.

I truly hope this never happens. Such a bad fit for Disney, and I think they would get a loooooot of pushback. Not sure it would be good publicity, especially if what they build is worse than what already exists at Universal, which it probably would be.

I wish they had more attention to cohesive themes at each park in WDW because DHS should 100% be a park that focuses on live action: Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Muppets, and one day Marvel. Adding Mickey, Monsters, and Toy Story only muddles the waters. I enjoy all of those things but DHS as a live action park that moved away from animated makes a lot of sense.

The world has already had a "Simpsons land" for like 20 years at Universal. I don't think there's any pent up demand to just build the thing again at DHS. Despite it still being relevant somehow, it's definitely closer to the end than the beginning at this point. I don't think it would be worth the investment. But as others have said, nothing is off the table.

Doesn't seem like a good fit to me though.
