Let’s get that standby wait to 3 hours!
It wont mean anything to Disney regardless of it being a 30 min or 3 hours standby. They'll shutter it regardless. But I hope it's a killer turn out!

The best thing people can do is pull a last minute "Save Toad!" Campaign but I doubt it could be organized fast enough.

Though if I were doing it, It'd be a magenta shirt featuring bold white lettering with the words: "SAVE MUPPETVISION 3-D" with a large QR Code placed below it to a Change.org petition outlining a plan to save the show by way of relocation... to show Disney the fandom can tolerate change if for the betterment of the IP, pairing it with RnRC and turning it into a land.

Then below the QR Code the words "MOVE TO SUNSET SHOWCASE"

No need for a silly play on words, just a straight to the point bombardment of Muppet fandom in matching shirts with the messaging and QR Code.

I'm gonna be there on the final day, already planning on doing a few showings. One in the morning right after rope dropping Runaway Railway, another in the middle of the day, and one in the evening. But we'll see how lines affect that! It is a large theater, but who knows how many people are gonna show up.

I don't recall Muppets 3D ever having much in the way of tech issues, but I hope everything's looking in tip-top shape for the archival? (Why don't they do these things when the attraction is brand new?!)

Also, everyone in attendance should wear 80s clothing to match the final scene when the theater blows up!

I would hope Disney has lots of B-Roll/archival footage of their rides, and that we just don't see it because they want us to go to the parks to experience it.

I know there's footage of the original Country Bear Jamboree from right before MK's opening, as well as souvenir film reels of both MK and DL versions from the 70s; footage of Small World and Pirates, etc etc, on top of anything they've filmed for advertisements and promotional videos. Surely most attractions from the 70s onwards have footage Disney filmed themselves for archival reasons.

The curtain has been out of action in recent weeks, hopefully that will get resolved.
