Still haven’t heard much about this attraction from Disney. Hoping it isnt a cheapo overlay with barley any muppet theming.

This was a cool concept, but im not gonna lie, i wish we were getting a purpose built muppets attraction to succeed muppetvision 3D, or at least a ride that would leave time for the muppets to be…well, the muppets.

I know a second attraction in the villains theatre has been thrown around, but still

Ride length is going to heavily dictate how much detail is put into the 'storymaking' element. I think of the 'incredicoaster' overlay, and while it's slightly more entertaining than its past theming, it's still minimal. At least the soundtrack links up to the show scenes quite well.

Yeah. Agreed. It’s not that it’s a bad idea. But I feel like the SOLE (as we know of right now) muppet attraction at wdw replacement for MV3D being a retheme of RNRC that won’t really allow for jokes or the muppet personalities to breath just kinda sucks. And even beyond that, going from an attraction with the entire og muppet team to the modern muppets, as much as I think some of them get too much hate, also kinda sucks.

I KNOW it might not be only RNRC in the long term, but I wish the muppets had a better hand for their future at WDW.

Random thought - If and when they update the songs in Cosmic Rewind, they should add an Aerosmith track like Walk this Way or even the same RR mix -Walk This Way, Dude , Sweet Emotion, Back in the Saddle and Love in an Elevator/ Roller Coaster. Great way to honor the legacy and an interesting twist for fans to try get that one.
I think they should have the Mayhem cover Walk this Way for this attraction, assuming it has multiple songs like Cosmic Rewind does.

I'm surprised your kids care about them at all considering the vast majority of the Muppets' core fanbase are adults
While I might have enjoyed Gonzo’s antics or Fozzie taking a pie to the face when I was younger, I find the humor so much funnier as an adult. I’ll miss that since any Monsters, Inc. show almost certainly won’t have humor like, “We invited distinguished scientists from all over the world to come and work here. Unfortunately, none of them showed up.”

Keep in mind, we'll be going from Jim Kermit to this once Mv3D is gone and RNRC is changed over. I think that's the hardest part of this for me, as I truly despise Vogel Kermit.

Vogel Kermit is growing on me, moreso for his understanding of the character. The voice is a middle ground between Jim and Steve- his pitch is closer to Jim’s but still a little higher and almost smoother, it lacks the kinda slight gravely-ness that Jim had.

I still think Steve was unjustly fired and the fact he still hangs with the rest of the Muppets crew is very telling. If he was “awful to work with” as Disney said then why do all his old coworkers hang out? Even Brian Henson was positively and fondly talking about him a year or two ago. But now Disney has recast Kermit and they don’t wanna admit they’re wrong so we have a new Kermit and lost Rizzo.
