With the closure early this year, was RNRC retracked? I know from the Flight Force overlay at WDS, the coaster wasn't retracked and it is still rough
No. Both closures focused on the launch and brake run.

New trains with the newer, softer restrains would help a lot. The headbanging at the back of the train is what I don’t like. If I lose 5 more neurons, I’ll have Gonzo’s cognitive abilities.

I thought I was going to end up with a brain injury after riding the last row during Jollywood Nights last year.

Still dislike how this is a placating move meant to make muppets fans shut up about MV3D. Clearly it hasn’t worked well.
I personally don’t think the muppet overly is intended to last more than a few years. They have to do something with the coaster by 2026 because they are losing the rights to use Aerosmith. This solves that problem and pacifies some of the Muppets fans in a way that can be done quickly and relatively cheaply.

There are tentative plans for HS in the 2030’s that will better fix the problems but they are far from certain and Disney is aware of the reputation of announcing without building and are putting an effort into not mentioning any projects until at least some of the ducks are in a row.

This is DHS. BATB is over 30. Frozen sing along was originally temporary. It’ll last longer than you expect.

There is good reason to think as you do on this subject but all the same it is my belief that this is the thinking within the castle walls at this time.

Well, I hope the muppets find a more permanent home then. I’d hate them to be perma gone.
I agree. I can accept the lose of MV3D but the muppets deserve better than to just have their pictures slapped on a broken down coaster that probably should have just been torn down and replaced a decade ago.

Btw - My youngest son and I lucked out and were able to ride in the last row in September (without even asking!!). Experienced zero issues with my head banging around or anything resembling a rough ride. 🤷‍♂️

RNRR is a pretty great coaster....and I think the consistent lines have shown it is extremely popular! It was nicely designed, though I do with the original set pieces were more dimensional... I have not been able to get on it in years because of the lines always being ridiculously long... Far from a broken down coaster.... looking forward to the Muppet integration...hoping they do an amazing job with it....and maybe form a new "Muppet Courtyard" around it off of Sunset...

Does anyone have any actual info on the quality, level of actual muppet theming, or anything else relating to this overlay? I hope there is actual muppet theming, because I worry they could do the bare minimum and not change anything expect the video and the coaster car and audio.
