I do enjoy these properties. It's where I used to stay with my family before my dad passed, so some special memories there. The dining is overall pretty good, especially for an adults trip.

@wdwmagic Is the room refresh really set to be done this year? If so, has anyone seen what the new rooms look like?

I admit I always get this confused, is it the swan that has double beds vs queens, or the other way around?

While I still say theme park view contemporary is the best spot in all of the resort (full disclosure this come with not having had pleasure of animal kingdom view room) we also love S/D. Great location, already existing good amenities, and really all the benefits of a Disney Deluxe stay. Having an "on property" location that you can use Marriot points at is also a great opportunity for savings when planning a trip, with limited loss of perks.

Dolphin have doubles, Swan has queens.

I agree,.. at first glance that is very dull looking. They could have at least added decor to the wall behind the bed to add more color or something

Large white wall, white bedspread, white desk under the TV - I'm fairly allergic to color in my own home but think they should have something here more than the small picture over the couch. I do like the switch from carpet to laminate. Much easier to keep clean.
