Lightning Lane Premier Pass

I just don’t think it’s a beautiful thing
I don't either, it just is not even remotely surprising to me that others might have a different view.

We live in a world where people purposely choose to consume fruitcake so no matter what I might think of something, there is always a group out there that will like it and more power to them. In this case it isn't even much of a stretch to see how useful the service could be to someone.

Today I learned having people pay $400 bucks plus to skip a few rides is a “beautiful thing”
LLPP is a beautiful thing for Bob, Josh and Hugh for sure 🤣

I realize now when the free Fastpass first came out it was like the drug dealer giving you the drugs for free at first then when you come back for more, it’s like Tim Tracker says, “Now it’s time to pay the price”

That's a patient drug dealer. We had free Fast pass for over 20 years. I guess Disney plays the long game.

While I think this is crazy, if I had 5x more wealth I’d probably buy it. And I know there are plenty of people who have a boatload more wealth these days.

One thing that’s clear at WDW is that time and convenience are precious commodities.

Time of year matters too. For a family coming in mid-September, they may find it a waste. Coming Christmas week and want to do everything and have that disposable income? Well, you’re gonna make sure your family does everything.

I know we’ll never see it, but I’d love to know the overlap of PP purchases with dessert party purchases for those guaranteed spots at fireworks.

Do we really need to rehash the debate about your personal spending choices, in this context of theme parks, actually have an impact on others?

Tell that to the family who’s first visit was just before paid LL was launched.

Yes, there where lucky families who enjoyed free FastPass (and mastered the system) but the free ride is over and these folks have been using skip the line systems so long that they can’t go back. It’s human nature.
