Lightning Lane Premier Pass

Some people use Disney to refer to all theme parks in the Orlando area.
Did she have a good time. Where did she stay? You don't need as much planning with Universal, compared with Disney. Guests staying at one of the 3 original hotels don't have to do any advance planning
This is true. I’m in a Facebook group for a children’s clothing boutique that does a lot of character prints. Someone posted recently asking for Harry Potter prints for their trip to Disney. When someone replied saying Harry Potter is Universal, not Disney, the OP responded saying they are going to several parks- Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Universal- so it’s easier to just say Disney instead of listing them all 😂
I always think 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ but never say anything 😂

Not being able to correct people is why I am considered by many to be an a-hole

I can actually see some value in this, as my husband has health issues that pretty much eliminate rope drop. But I have to know: is anyone actually ever buying it for AK?!
We won’t be buying PP for anything but AK was our easiest choice for MP, still on the fence about buying anything for the other parks but with EE, the safari, and Navi available MP an easy choice for us at AK.

Meanwhile, we are going Christmas week and I was shocked at the widespread LL availability. Slinky Dog Dash whenever I wanted, even 8 days out.

Maybe it’ll be so crowded that no one will come.
It is possible, thanksgiving weeks wait times were that bad and trended downward from previous years. I think people keep forgetting that April 2023 was the first time people could purchase annual passes (besides the pixie pass) in years. A lot of people then went a lot to get their moneys worth and many have let them lapse plus revenge travels is pretty much over now. I don’t think we will see record crowds. Plus if you look at the hotels there is still a lot of availability for the coming weeks.

Edit: I forgot to add most locals are blacked out of the parks during that time!

You couldn't pay me to ride Navi. Once in my life was enough. I don't know when you are going but even with moderate crowds I've rarely seen EE be more than 40 minutes standby. Safari tends to either be very low wait or very long wait when I'm there.

Unfortunately with my Gfs medical condition anything beyond about 30 minutes becomes risky, now that she no longer qualifies for DAS our options are pay for LL, skip many of the best rides, or just not go anymore.

We really enjoy Navi but it’s so short we could never justify the insane wait times it usually has, even if we could.

We’ve been to DL and WDW enough times we don’t mind missing out on the rides we’ve done dozens of times but if we can’t at least get on some of the unique WDW ones it’s not worth the ticket price.

Going the same week and this has me blown away too. @lentesta s touringplans has that week as 8 and 9 crowd levels instead of the usual 10's, so maybe it really is going to be lighter than normal.

From some people on the ground it seems like things have been more crowded now than in the past - wondering if a lot of people shifted trips to be earlier in December b/c of how crowded it usually in right at Christmas/week b/w Christmas and New Years

There is a known-shift post pandemic that many parents have no qualms about pulling kids out of school for a week.
