Valid Park Admission Required
Before you can purchase a Lightning Lane Premier Pass, you must have valid theme park admission.
Park reservations may also be required, depending on the type of admission and the date of your visit. Please see theme park reservation requirements.
I'll stick with regular park admission and single/multi-pass, thank you. These prices are insane. Where in the app do you find it? I have no plans to purchase but, other than search, I can't find it in the app.

Therein lies the problem though. If people do that, Disney doesn’t make more money. Guests just trade out one for another
Sure. But Disney can now fill that same hotel room twice. They’ll still sell the tickets and the food, just to different people. I suspect the math works for Disney too. The high price of LLPP makes up for the occasional empty room scenario. (Watch those “value” room prices soar…)

Disney Expands Lightning Lane Premier Pass to All Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests

I'm hoping this is the heading to getting rid of the Multi pass as now with extending to all resort guests it's going to end with more guests buying it. That puts more guests in the LL queues.

Not at the same room rate. If people stay fewer nights there isn't a magical supply of guests to fill the open nights at the same rate. If there was them they'd have 100% occupancy all the time. To fill the open nights will require lower rates.

Mere weeks after the roll out of this began and it’s being offered to a much wider group despite people’s insistence that Disney would never (and it selling out at the limited deluxe guest numbers), and that this product will be so limited it will not impact everyone else.

Surprise surprise. I think this is not great news for anybody who is not considering purchasing this. Does make for some interesting Disney math though.

Ho ho hoping for more $
I’ll be watching the wait times this year closely. I’m expecting a bit of a disaster. Imagine you’re a first timer, excited to be able to bring your family to the most magical place on earth and you’re hit with 2 hour/3hour lines because you couldn’t afford premier pass. You just dropped 8k, how likely are you to come back? Money grabs will catch up to Disney at some point.
