It's not paint, it's aluminum tiles that have been there since the 80s (and I don't imagine are cleaned very often)Has paint been stripped on that side of the building, or is that just how bad that building actually looks?
Pretty sure it's not just a cleaning issue at this point.(and I don't imagine are cleaned very often)
Oh it isn't, but that doesn't help matters either.Pretty sure it's not just a cleaning issue at this point.
If it's metal it can be polished, what did Rudy say? "Shining like a new penny in the sun"?Pretty sure it's not just a cleaning issue at this point.
Thank the Phoenicians!Consultants need not ride the attraction because "books make it easier to invent the future in every field." They can just read about it.

How the hell will they handle capacity?Got to learn a little more about this project recently. The entrance is indeed going to be on the east side where the walls currently are, which is strange to me because the old lounge entrance was on the west side. Apparently small parts of the old lounge won't return as a guest space and will be sealed off from the new lounge project. The new guest area is just what's visible in the concept art, the room right in front of the windows. The original west entrance will lead to a sealed off area, which I'm assuming will be repurposed as some kind of cast space to support the new lounge. Not really much of note other than that. If you've been up there before, expect it to seem a little smaller when you're up there next.

Capacity was always going to be an issue. I expect it to be a by-reservation-only space. How the hell will they handle capacity?
I'm guessing more like Space 220. Don't need to pay to get in. Low capacity entrance. Big check amount. The next ‘paywalled’ expereince, coming soon to the former place where anything was possible in the future….

No, and you can thank the Persians, the Macedonians (Alexander the Great), and the Romans for that.I’ve often thought of doing so, but does anyone here know where I can find a Phoenician to thank…?!
It was never publicly accessible up there, i have never been able to go up there and i visit often. The next ‘paywalled’ expereince, coming soon to the former place where anything was possible in the future….

I fully agree, and it's not really like the space could be repurposed for much else other than a reservation-only bar, considering capacity. Disney still produces non-upcharge experiences for regular day ticket guests, however I am starting to see - and worry about - how its becoming less common in comparison to the rising quantity of upcharge offerings in the Parks these daysIt was never publicly accessible up there, i have never been able to go up there and i visit often.

In all seriousness, while the Phoenician culture did not carry on, many believe that via DNA you can thank a modern day Lebanese.
