Doesn't make it the right thing to doAnd the core experience would hardly change.
Changing the movie clips at a campy sci-fi restaurant from campy sci-fi movie clips to random Disney IP movie clips... doesn't... change the core experience of the sci-fi-themed restaurant? And the core experience would hardly change.
Well, he never said he had "apizza."That’s not pizza.
Stop by New Haven and we will get you set up with Modern.
I think they drop the Sci Fi from the name.Matter of time before sci Fi is changed to generic Disney ip film clips .
I like this idea. Keeps it rotational just like a real drive in movie theater. The idea of seasonal overlays is fun too. Imagine the menu changing to match with on-theme shakes and burgers.I think they drop the Sci Fi from the name.
I think they content should change regularly.
Perhaps seasonally, maybe Christmas themed IP during Christmas, Halloween themed IP during Halloween, Summertime themed IP during summertime.
Disney has tons of content to choose from.
They could post what is now showing outside, and folks will make reservations to see the new seasonal content I think.
Good idea about the menu changing even if they just added “seasonal favorites”I like this idea. Keeps it rotational just like a real drive in movie theater. The idea of seasonal overlays is fun too. Imagine the menu changing to match with on-theme shakes and burgers.
I think the trick there would be to still give it a theme but one not tied down to a specific film genre. Instead just something campy while still keeping the 50s-style decor. Something like "B Movie Dine-In Theater" would work allowing them to show different film clips. And the core experience would hardly change.
@marni1971 I get that what I circled is not the remnant, but is there anything in Mama Melrose that is leftover from when it was intended to be a Muppet restaurant?I've always heard that there were some remnants of the original plan for the Rizzo Muppet restaurant that was going to be here (the tracks for the rats to deliver food, or something like that). Are these beams the remnants or is there something else?

It certainly looks like we are going to see things move quickly, just like in DAK.Hopefully it's a good sign that things will move quickly after MV3D closes.
The fact that is this store didn’t reopen after the pandemic was a telltale sign of the imminent demise of the Muppets courtyard.Disney Files Permit to Demolish Stage 1 Company Store at Hollywood Studios Ahead of Monsters, Inc. Land

Strange, because apparently the RnRC shop will have Muppet merchandise. It feels like they purposely worked to kill Muppetvision as an excuse to…kill Muppetvision. The fact that is this store didn’t reopen after the pandemic was a telltale sign of the imminent demise of the Muppets courtyard.
I guess merchandise wasn’t moving like Disney wanted either huh ??![]()
Well their popularity sure shot up when Disney decided they were going to kill them.Strange, because apparently the RnRC shop will have Muppet merchandise. It feels like they purposely worked to kill Muppetvision as an excuse to…kill Muppetvision.
I’ll miss this more than anything else being cut.
I don’t think the pizza is that bad but the size is unfortunate.
