Technically, that wasn't Breaking News on Christmas Day as we heard it on Dec 5th....but ABC still took the time to mention it, Good For Them! Although, I didn't see PTN in the 70th Commercial....

Anyone heard how many performers are in the parade? Given what we have with FoF, I wouldn't expect a full compliment by any means...

I think there's a strong possibility we get a full cast. All the seasonal parades have full cast and this is the first new parade at WDW in 10 years. FoF is an outlier and according to @wdwmagic there's not going to be changes to it but I wouldn't worry too much about Starlight.

Fair but...I would hope TDO is treating this like a Seasonal Parade, Cast Wise!

Didn't someone say about a month or 2 ago that the merida float was being repainted? or were they just lying? It would be nice with a bigger daily cast pool to restore FoF once starlight debuts unless that parade will also have minimum cast.

I guess they could also drill a bunch of holes for LEDs in the merida unit and turn it into a nighttime parade float..

We did hear about that but nothing has happened since.

I guess they could have a surprise or two up their sleeves for the summer but not gonna get my hopes up. Not float or performer related but they did manage to keep it quiet and surprise us with the updated soundtrack for MUOACT, so anything is possible.
