Magic Kingdom Christmas Day Reservations Closed for Annual Passholders, New Year's Eve Fully Booked for Resort Guests and Regular Tickets

Does anyone seriously believe that this “capacity limitation” is organic in any way and not just someone typing some keystrokes to manipulate the mix on a random Thursday in October?

Honestly it’s things like this that just act as a major demotivater for guests.

FTFY.

(*I've long believed that event capacity is a manipulated number based on what level of FOMO TDO wants to present and how ticket sales are going*)

ETA: And just think of all that sweet, sweet, LLPP money they'll be making that week, in addition to their regular LL haul. TDO and Josh were wet with drool when they were informed of this.

Breakdown:

53 food items
38 are available during MVMCP only
11 are available both during MVMCP and regular park hours
4 are available during regular park hours only
So you're saying that attending only one MVMCP is not sufficient to experience it all and you need to buy tickets to at least 5 of these things to fully experience the event?

Honest question, other than Disney Adults and DIS Social Media grifters who literally eat this stuff up, don't most people go to these things to experience the entertainment and rides?

I’ve always found the party-exclusive food strange. Not many book parties to pay for more food and they lose money by not offering these items all day. Very strange.

You'd be surprised how many people are influenced to purchase tickets because they're foodies and want to make sure they try X before it goes away. Especially after the first party when everyone is raving about certain items.

The exclusive food makes sense to me; it helps sell a package. Go to the party and you get not only short lines, you get things you can only get there.

It's meant to sweeten the deal, not be the entire reason you go.
