Any idea why they would have even opened the 1:00 drop - and left it open for almost 2.5 hours - when they didn't even start calling BGs until 12 minutes after it was closed? Or why they would have left the 7:00 drop open for 12 minutes after a 9-hour early closure the night before (and presumably awareness that today would have a delayed opening)?

That all seems...odd.

Not sure. Usually extended downtime in the morning would lead the 1pm drop to last very short, like seconds.

Maybe they expected the ride to open fairly soon, which it did 2 hours after, so they kept it open as normal until BG supply was gone.

As for this morning, probably same thing. They thought the ride would open soon, so they left it as is.

Another point is that demand for this ride, especially in the last 2 weeks has been very low. We've had almost a straight week of the afternoon 1pm drops lasting the entire day 'til park close. That's unprecedented with any VQ we've seen before.
