MK Big Thunder Mountain to receive full retrack

Yep. You can see tracks going into it. Maybe they’ll replace it with the DVC that stores trains. Disney Train Storage Lodge & Spa.
I know your joking, but nothing would print money faster for Disney than a resort with a private entrance into Magic Kingdom. If I was in charge or Disney, I would certainly build one back by Villain's land or next to big thunder

It looks like it crossed here, and then there was just a rotating track or something that would be on the other side, which would turn and connect via that little piece of curved concrete

You can see the piece of track that rotates over the railroad here:

Off topic, but it seems wrong to:
1. Have a rule that we can’t mention a certain news source; and
2. Post information from that source, without actually identifying the source other than to say “that site we don’t say.”

@TheCoasterNerd I’m directing this at you as I know you’re just following whatever the rule about this seems to be around here.
I agree. This site is independent and is perfectly entitled to make up any rules it wants to, for whatever reasons and justification it feels. It does however feel a bit odd that 'the site that can't be mentioned' can have their content posted on here without getting credit for sourcing and obtaining that information?

I remember another poster criticising me and making a fuss when I linked a youtube video one time many years ago (from a random source that wasn't banned or disliked) without typing in the name of the youtube channel I was using. That seemed fair enough and since then I've always tried to remember to type in "Courtesy of pickaname youtube channel" in my accompanying text with any content taken from elsewhere. Bearing that in mind it seems odd that a site so despised that it can't be mentioned is fair game for pinching content from without crediting them? Even if it means missing out on the odd bit of good stuff it should be either a blanket ban on content or if we take content at least acknowledging it if we want to take the moral high ground.

That's not having a go at this site or anyone linking content, just an observation on what seems a bit off as originally pointed out by another poster.

Surprised they didn’t just clear and use some of the Villain Land staging areas.

I've never rebuilt a roller coaster, but I'd assume track is a long-lead item. Given the quick turn around with the reinstall, I'd assume they needed a medium-longish place to store the track as it arrived and a local laydown would be a middleman with no benefit to this project.

Just my thought.

More track being transported on site for installation. So the staging area must somewhat be a fars away.

Even if that staging area was on property they would still need a truck to transport it. I wonder if they are using the staging area just north of ESPN that was setup for Toy Story Land and Galaxy's Edge?

A villain-themed hotel with a back entrance into Villains-land would go CRAZY. Not like Starcruiser-esque but just a general dark spooky vibe would be amazing. Sorta like this idea by Hey Brickey except new construction instead of a retheme

Wasn’t one of the things that came out of that Disney leak a few months back a haunted mansion hotel?
