Disney says ¡Celebración Encanto! is now a full-time entertainment offering at EPCOT:

I suppose they meant 'year round' or 'permanent' and not 'full time."

I hope all the performers were already getting full time work.

This always draws enough people to make it worthwhile. As much at any of the VoL or street performers do. And the IP is on the top ten to promote in the parks. Just as long as it doesn't go into the night and clash with the SSE's 'shows.'

It’s actually dozens.
Dozens?!?! Out of the thousands and thousands that visit the park each day?

The saving grace of the Encanto show for those not caring for it is that it is time-limited. It's not never-ending. And there are breaks between sets. And it's not at night.

And now, here's where I again spew hatred for the pop music dance party DJ. That must go. It's never-ending and loud. There's no respite from it if you want to hang in the hub, which, BTW, is very nice now.

I think this is fine. I always see people enjoying the show and dancing and smiling... This little show brings more smiles to the park than most other things that require long waits.

My only request is can we retire the Frozen Singalong show at HS now? It's the same thing. Something new.

Could not agree more. This is park management being completely clueless. They have this nice, chill area now for people to relax…and they have a disco party at the silly Communicore Hall. Ridiculous.

For me, the disco party is lazy, cheap “entertainment”. And if you have to do it, at least do it like they are handling the Incredibles party at Jollywood Nights. It’s tucked back out of the way.

Also, were I to walk by one of these dance “parties” and there were tons of people there, I would (begrudgingly) understand why they did them. I just walked by the one in Epcot this past Monday and there was one little girl dancing with a few adults standing around. Pointless.

Also, unless it’s New Year’s Eve and I’m standing in the Italy pavilion, there shouldn’t be a DJ dance party in Epcot. Period.

I figured it out; World Celebration is named after what you do when this show finally leaves!

(And don't do when they inevitably replace it with something just as obnoxious and lame.)

They're waiting for a live action Princess and the Frog to come out and then they'll do 'Tiana's EPCOT Jubilee: A Celebration in the Plaza'

Not into the Country pavilion DJ's. If the DJ in Italy was Featuring European or Italian dance party hits I'd then be okay with that. However I agree Epcot having DJ's in general is lazy.
