Not during the busiest and most popular time of the year (attendance wise) it wasn’t!SOA was a waste of space for a bunch of facade sets.
They needed to do more with it during the rest of the year though I agree.

If you mean when it had Osborne lights you’re right, but that doesn’t mean it was worth it for ten months sitting empty. The lights were on residential street originally. Not during the busiest and most popular time of the year (attendance wise) it wasn’t!

I sadly never saw them on residential- I wish I had!If you mean when it had Osborne lights you’re right, but that doesn’t mean it was worth it for ten months sitting empty. The lights were on residential street originally.
I agree with most of this. I actually think most of the parks rn have a very positive future, at least the most positive when it comes to possibility in the last 30 years. I also think that Tropical Americas and Villains esp are very exciting and while we are nervous about certain things (animals and theming) it's still exciting. I would also argue every project rn is at least interesting and seems good in scale, and doesn't look like they are cheating out which I give them credit forI can't see the DAK project not being an overall improvement compared to what was there (even though it's TBD the "animal" connection).
DHS will likely forever suffer the dual curse of being wedged in geographically and them not planning on "overall working studio" concept failing.
I can see DHS becoming "better than ever" if they do Monsterland, Animation, & Muppets RR right, bring back MV3D thru Villians showbuilding, and somehow make Starwars land more knetic.
I also predict (far, far into the future)...they CAN keep expanding by replacing "parking lots" with "parking garages" (like DL & Disney Springs).
It should be ready in, what, 2-3 months at this pace?Right on cue, someone says the thing.
How long until people think it’s amazing that the walls went up followed by thinking things slowed down because we can’t see obvious progress anymore?Right on cue, someone says the thing.
We need a filter on the boards that replaces phrases like "they're just pushing dirt around" and "now construction is moving quickly" with an appropriate GIF.
