“Loved it” was referring to the pre show itself.

Indiana Jones at Disneyland is much better - especially with all effects working (which I believe all were on my last trip).

But Indiana Jones, Mummy, and Spider-man were sadly a different era. :-/ we won’t get them again

Dinoland USA was always one of Disney's weakest lands to me and this was a pretty wide spread opinion as well. I don't know where the narrative switch is coming from but I suppose this is what happens EVERYTIME something gets closed down.

I loveeeee Dinosaur, always have. I also LOVE dinosaurs and any inclusion I see of them in theme parks. With that being said, I did get a chance to ride the Indy ride over at Tokyo Disneyland and if our version is gonna be anything similar to that, I'm okay with Dinosaur being replaced. The Indy ride just utilizes that ride system so much better...

The preshow is undoubtedly very 90s. Everything from the casting to the technology right down to the CGI on the Iguanodon.

We love it because it’s nostalgic. It’s campy but also incredibly well-written. However, average guests don’t care. Most of them are on their phones the whole time.

You could make that same claim about a movie like Snow White or (again) Mulan. Their settings have a lot of animals, but that doesn't make them fit Animal Kingdom.

Hey, I might still be miffed about Splash Mountain but I was never against The Princess and the Frog getting a ride. It's a good movie. Tiana's Bayou Adventure isn't even a good Princess and the Frog ride.

That was my point - the movie went years being underrepresented because it wasn't as successful as Tangled or Frozen. I'm not denying that there have always been a lot of Tiana fans, but Disney certainly didn't make a big deal out of her until 2020.

I mean, there's a huge Emperor's New Groove fanbase too, and Atlantis has a cult following, but Disney's not about to make attractions based on THOSE movies anytime soon.

To be fair, while they aren't about to make whole attractions for them, those characters have appeared lately in the parks and Yzma is one of the focus villians for Villian's Land.

The professional complainers have to maintain the narrative that everything that current Disney does is terrible and everything from 20+ years ago is amazing
