Hopefully this means I can get a last ride in on DINOSAUR, too, when I head down to watch Muppet*Vision 3D over and over again for the last time.

As someone going in early May, I'm much more confident in DINOSAUR than M*V3D.

If they were smart they would pre-fab some the new Indy facade off sight and have it ready to go and be attached when it is closing time. Not really changing the structure just the overlay of a new facade. Start working on the extended outdoor queue if not needed. Have everything ready to go in shipping containers for install. Demo is 4 months. 6 Months to install. 2 Months to program. At least that is how I would do it...

My initial thought is that Park Ops pushed back on losing the capacity.

Kali isn't popular during the colder months of the year, so that's one headliner out until spring.

Dinosaur would be two headliners offline.

Everest averages something like an hour of downtime per day, and its last major refurb was spring 2022. So it might need some TLC sooner rather than later.

If Everest had to do multi-week maintenance, that would leave Safaris and Flight of Passage as the only major rides in the park. Safaris would be the only major LLMP attraction too.

I can see how that would affect Park Ops and revenue.

Why are we pretending they’re not doing anything as if an entire half of the area won’t be under active construction

Yeah, this is the same company that allowed DHS to drop to just 3 rides for a while in order to retheme and add.

I know it's not a major attraction, but Bug's life needs to close fairly soon if Zootopia is making it for next Christmas. Not even major LLs, but all LLMPs would be down to:

1. Navi
2. Kali (assuming it isn't closed due to weather)
3. Safari
4. Everest
5. Feathered Friends in Flight (limited show times)
6. Festival of the Lion King (limited show times)
7. Finding Nemo (limited show times)
8. Maybe add it back into the animation experience?
9. I would think Park ops might also push to bring it back to M&Gs (maybe only at Animal Kingdom)
10. Maybe throw something into Kite Tails/Rivers of light arena with a LLMP for one of the seating sections? IDK what they could add that quickly though to a lagoon that would be good enough to need a LLMP...

Yeah, holding off on Zootopia may make sense from a marketing standpoint (align with the new film's release) but doesn't make sense for the park. They should be switching to Zootopia NOW to open it before DinoRama closes. The park needs capacity.

I’m surprised given the companies a la carte revenue focus that the five year plan went anemic for DAK. I won’t go so far to say Hollywood studios is getting a strong investment cycle, but it’s already the second place LLMP consideration park due to its heavy headliner burden.

We’re clearly missing a DAK project.

Any update on other future expansions? Ignoring the Lion King ride rumor from a bit ago, it's been a while since AK has gotten a new restaurant or show (ignoring Zootopia for a second)
