This is how I feel. Zootopia really only fits on a very surface level. They aren't really animals. I know Disney doesn't care and realistically most of the general public doesn't either, but old Disney used to care about thematic integrity. It seems that is gone.
The Bugs in Bug's Life also don't fit. it's clear also a movie about people just told with bugs but no one is talking about that. They changed the point of the show to fit better into the parks.

I get it. But if they have to have Zootopia, then putting it in a theater that you have to make an effort to get to out of the way under the Tree of Life without disrupting the rest of the park is clearly the best option.

Where did I say anything about changing or taking away the movie? And no, you didn’t explain how the beginning of the movie doesn’t exist.
I am trying to explain that there is nothing problematic about Zootopia 1’s opening. None of what young Judy said ties into a specific real world group. The fantasy element of the animals learning to treat each other better is not a poor allegory, and it’s not inadvertently insulting any real group of people. You basically *are* arguing that the movie is harmful and something that should be banned when you make bad implications like that.

And that’s what I’m trying get people to stop doing. It’s not about getting you to like it as much as I do, just for all of you to quit branding it a secretly harmful.

Either way it doesn't fit Animal Kingdom. It's problematic to the theme of the park.

I like the movie. It just doesn't belong in AK. They're basically humans portrayed as animals. Likewise, Disney's Robin Hood doesn't belong in AK for the same reason. They're the same characters as the story but portrayed as animals. AK is about actual habitats, even the futuristic habitat of Pandora.

1) Reread @marxoo 's post. That's not what he's saying.

2) You'll be happier looking at how things do fit than playing No True Scotsman games trying to prove that they don't. ;)
And the folks in Zootopia are much more animalistic than you remember, if you think they're just like Robin Hood. Did you ever read Ranger Rick as a child?

I'm fine if they want to tuck it way under the Tree of Life out of the way. Just not anywhere else in AK.

Remember, most people are here to vent frustration. They don't make sense four fifths of the time. It's an Internet "fandom."

1) What he's saying is no one is allowed to have an opinion that is different than his...that has been made perfectly clear through all of his posts in this thread.
