I've never seen Disney ever use the exact astrological definition of the seasons when they throw around seasonal dates.

It's also rare for people in general to go by strict dates. E.g., in NJ, grade school goes past the start of astrological Summer until the end of June, and they go back to classes the first week of September before astrological Summer ends.

But when we say "the kids have off of school for the Summer," no one in their right mind would say, "Hey, how come they're in session in late July and early September!!? It's Summer!!!!"

I tend to think of "Disney Summer" as being from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Give or take a few days.

To clarify, I wasn't actually making a serious prediction...that's just when my trip is, so I want it to be open by then!

While I’ll hope for the best for both of you, I’d have to think it’s highly unlikely we’ll see any previews in May, just based on the general lack of info we have so far. Disney might be ok letting this one slip past Epic’s official opening so it doesn’t get completely lost.

That's okay. I'm going to a preview of Epic on May 13 instead.

yeah but they have those cool circle lights...like they used in the Celebration/Flex zone....so we know it is going to be amazing!!!our

What's surprising to me is that with LEDs they can create all kinds of unique light fixtures yet they come up with designs that look like fluorescent fixtures from 50 years ago.

AP's were sent an email a month before our previews of TBA last year giving dates and info. May was the email and mid June was preview's, I think it opened shortly after that.

We don’t actually know the extent of it. We know the forest scene was gutted and rebuilt, that’s about it
