It feels like Christmas - Muppet Christmas Carol
The Greatest Christmas of all - House of Mouse
Those are two that come to mind..
Sorry neighbor, no way! If they use the Muppet song, it's going to be in a Muppet Christmas show, but that will never happen, because they are completely ambivalent about the Muppets.

And the other one, from the obscure Mickey's Magical Christmas: Snowed in at the House of Mouse? Sure, it was appointment viewing for me every year for a few years back then, but it's not like anyone is going to recognize it. And if no one is going to recognize it, what's the point of using it? Though I do appreciate someone bringing that song up. Such a masterpiece of Disney talent all coming together.

I’d argue someone doesn’t have to recognize it for it to be included. If that was the logic we were going with neither splash mountain or Mr. Toad would have been built.

While I agree with you, this line is essentially the original show- a bunch of old country music that most people didn’t recognize, especially after they put it through the Vaudeville country filter.

Either way Disney doesn’t have the stones to do something obscure these days lol. So many songs would’ve worked great for CBMJ but they went with the same handful of songs and movies you hear everywhere else (I still really like the new show though)

My sister was at Magic Kingdom last week, and she said she didn't even notice it was a new show for the Bears. I asked her if she liked the new version and she said "I didn't know there was a new one, when did they change it?". I think this leads back to what we were discussing a few weeks ago about the new show ranking higher, people who aren't on the internet 24/7 probably don't even know they switched it.

Romeo McGrowl has a new outfit:

LET'S GOOOOO!!!!

Actually the most exciting bit of park news for me in awhile lmao. Here's hoping Shaker gets some TLC soon, cause he looks nothing like how he does in the show. I Photoshopped him and Wendell back when the new show premiered:
With the reveal of Shaker's new costume today, I figured I'd try to (roughly and quickly) photoshop Shaker and Wendell to resemble their animatronics more. I think Wendell definitely looks a lot less terrifying! Shaker looks great with the long fur on his face and less exposed skin too.

The neck looks like it could've had some material taken out, but I'd say the head looks the same.

Here's an old pic, the neck is a little thicker here compared to the new costume.

I think it may be also that he's now wearing clothes plus a wig that makes the sculpt look different.

Do we know how much it costs Disney to make a costume? Surely it can't be that expensive. I wonder if they'd ever pony up some money to finally give Henry a walk-around costume (other than the one from Disney on Parade in the 70s), or for Trixie since they've been using her a lot in the marketing for the show lately? I know four bears is a lot already, but at least have the main character as a meet-and-greet!

Knowing them they would be TDL M&G's only...We don't even have a new version of Orange Bird out yet....

Including the design process, testing, fabrication, and labour (especially labour)? Several hundred thousand, is most likely. Some properties (Lion Guard I know for a fact, but there are others) have even had characters designed and tested but never brought out for guests... I'd expect that this design probably cost well north of $200k all in, assuming they didn't just modify an existing costume. One of the rare things I don't have particularly hard numbers on, unfortunately.

Of course copies are a fraction of that.
