Timeline is "through May" so you should be okay. It'd be a disaster to not have open for summer.

Hubby and I are booked for the first week of September, and we're also hoping for the same. But we're booked for Yacht Club. Honestly, the reason we booked YC was for the pool amenities, as we're middle-aged and know we'll be spending plenty of time at our resort during the week. We originally wanted to book for our 1st anniversary (May 1st), but read about the construction way in advance, so chose the other time the parks aren't so hectic. Just so happens to be when it's obscenely hot (I've heard), so pool time will be a must. I'm not worried about the roofwork, though. Contractors (at least around my little piece of heaven) get roofs up and done super-fast!
A very reliable birdie told me that they are running behind and that the expected opening date is the beginning of July.
Disney did update the timeline back in March '24 to "through June 2025":

Concrete for the pool.
Shocked that it's being handled so low-key with the cement trucks going in and out of IG. Knowing Disney you'd expect them to have an army of Security CM shielding guests from the construction equipment.

I believe they have a special filtration setup that would cost money to replace, and of course taking away the sand would make the pool less unique too. I don’t know as though they’d ever want to get rid of it.
