Which is the best new Disney World rollercoaster - TRON Lightcycle Run or Guardians of the Galaxy Cosmic Rewind?

So we have the rare situation of two big new rollercoasters opening in very short succession at Walt Disney World. Which is the best?

While Tron is fun, I enjoy Cosmic Rewind more.

I have ridden both now.

Guardians, only because of length of the ride. If Tron was longer, I would go with Tron as better.

Guardians is the overall better ride, but theming and immersion into an entirely different world goes to Tron. That being said, I enjoyed Tron far more. I felt the projections in Guardians were far too blurry with the ride vehicles turning.

I’ve now ridden each one once and the winner is tron for me - it did hurt my back so next time I’ll wait for the traditional coaster seat.

Having the opportunity recently to ride both multiple times… Guardians outshines Tron. I expected more from Tron and although it was thrilling, Guardians delivered so much more.

Guardians is the better ride, but I'll take the theme/atmosphere of TRON any day.

And N'avi river journey at its quickest pace is still three and a half minutes longer than Tron.

Guardians is fun, has a good pre-show, and has fun music playing while you ride. Tron is uncomfortable (I'm 6'3 and the bike is just not comfortable to ride), too short and is just kinda boring outside of the big swoop outside. I look forward to Guardians when I go back and don't care if I get on Tron or not.

After riding Tron last trip my vote goes to Tron, I agree it’s too short but I also find it more thrilling than Cosmic rewind, also less disorienting.

For me this is like comparing Velocicoaster to Hagrids, Hagrids has more going on, has more theming, has animatronics, is longer… on paper it’s better in every way but Velocicoaster gets my adrenaline pumping and is my favorite ride ever.

Unfortunately for Disney both the new Uni coasters are superior to Disneys new coasters.

Fortunately () I’m only 5’8” so the Tron seats were very comfortable. The only ride in any Disney park I find mildly uncomfortable is 7DMT, I’m small and find that seat snug and the legroom short, I don’t know how that seat ever got past the design stage.

Tough call! TRON Lightcycle Run is all about speed and sleek, futuristic vibes, while Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind brings crazy smooth spins, an epic soundtrack, and full-on storytelling immersion.
