One and done per trip maybe. Speaking from experience riding the Florida version, I would marathon Splash. I rode TBA twice (with a gap of one week between those two rides) and I was done. The only reason we did it a third time was because I had booked a Lightning Lane 2 weeks prior.
I agree. I rode Splash like 5 times the trip we took before it closed and enjoyed it each time, even though the ride was already being left in shambles. We did Tiana this summer during the Halloween party and enjoyed it, but then when we went back on our full MK day I felt like we were wasting time because of needing to RS. My husband specifically didn't want to ride it twice as he said he just doesn't like it as much anymore.
I'm at the Haloween Party right now. I suppose I'll ride it again just because.
Definitely not following the Baxter design philosophy.
It feels weird to go on a ride whose story is very pre-school and elementary aged, but my 3 and 6 year old are waiting for us to get off because they're scared of the actual ride. Like I would enjoy it more if I could experience it with them. I think something like Under the Sea for Tiana's plot would have made much more sense.
I think something else taking over the Splash building would have been better... I would have preferred they create a new IP specifically designed to fit the Frontierland location...Change the mountain to closer match the rockwork and range of Big Thunder... Use some of the Wester River Expedition ideas.... and then Purpose-build Tiana a ride based on the actual source material instead of some board-room committee storyline... Placed where something with a New Orleans theme would make sense... Even if Animal Kingdom had a new area with animal exhibits based on the American Bayou Flora and Fauna, and a New Orleans Square area... With the Tiana ride as it's center... THen Tiana would not be a disconnected add-on, but the centerpiece of a whole area dedicated to the IP...
