Yes, I'm pushing the agenda I believe. And then you get to push the agenda you believe. We call that "having a conversation." Having conversations are the entire point of message boards like this one. They are generally more interesting when there are differing points of view.Oh please, even a blind person can see what agenda you're pushing.
Disney chose not to pursue that.I remember when this was an open-and-shut 1st Amendment issue that would be resolved immediately 12 months ago.
I mean, we all like to make fun of Disney management, but it's a top 50 international corporation. Their IT department may suck but I guarantee you that the inhouse legal department does not.Not sure 2024 is gonna be enough. The political problem will remain beyond
It’s the first impressive move by the management structure in a LONG time

potential new players. Florida has a 2 consecutive term restriction. Ronny D would need to take a term off - he could probably go to back to congress. No new players in Florida in 2024…and maybe much longer
Not just the in-house, but the law firms they keep on retainer as well.I mean, we all like to make fun of Disney management, but it's a top 50 international corporation. Their IT department may suck but I guarantee you that the inhouse legal department does not.
I believe Rick Scott's term is up in 2024 if he decides not to run for any other offices next year.potential new players. Florida has a 2 consecutive term restriction. Ronny D would need to take a term off - he could probably go to back to congress.
…it’s been speculated that they would get rid of that quickly based on the whims of the cult leaders.potential new players. Florida has a 2 consecutive term restriction. Ronny D would need to take a term off - he could probably go to back to congress.
Their legal department is probably the best remaining division they haveI mean, we all like to make fun of Disney management, but it's a top 50 international corporation. Their IT department may suck but I guarantee you that the inhouse legal department does not.
Wait a minute…his term is up? “Decides not to run for other offices”?I believe Rick Scott's term is up in 2024 if he decides not to run for any other offices next year.
Fair point! Job security! Despite TWDC streamlining there will be no Disney legal department cuts!I mean, we all like to make fun of Disney management, but it's a top 50 international corporation. Their IT department may suck but I guarantee you that the inhouse legal department does not.
by he I mean Destantis. No term limits in the Senate, and you get rewarded more there for aggressive language than actual accomplishments. It's probably a better gig for him than President.Wait a minute…his term is up? “Decides not to run for other offices”?
We need to do a “Congress 101” course with you
2026.I believe Rick Scott's term is up in 2024 if he decides not to run for any other offices next year.
DeSantis is barred for running for re-election as governor of Florida until 2030, and Florida's resign-to-run law requires him to resign as governor within 10 days of qualifying for POTUS run (unless the end of his term coincides with the beginning of the term for the other elected position should he win). So he either resigns to run for POTUS in 2028, or he stays in office then either spends two years campaigning for 2028 or runs for a single term in congress (2026-2028) and THEN potus.by he I mean Destantis. Didn't he get elected in 2018? I'll have to double check that (Scott)2026.
Whoops, yeah, it's been a day. Did the math wrong.Didn't he get elected in 2018? I'll have to double check that (Scott)
So you think he’s gonna run against the other two that will be planted there for 25 years?by he I mean Destantis. No term limits in the Senate, and you get rewarded more there for aggressive language than actual accomplishments. It's probably a better gig for him than President.
Who? Run for what?Whoops, yeah, it's been a day. Did the math wrong.
Yeah, 2024 for Rick Scott. He'll handily win re-election if he doesn't run for POTUS.
