Finally got to ride this last week; it's definitely a good time, though it's in a weird in-between place where I feel the use of the IP both helps and hurts the experience a bit - like, the whole "Wonders of Xandar" thing is kind of lame, the story doesn't feel at all important once you're on the ride and it'd feel a bit more interesting and "EPCOT-y" if it really was just a coaster themed to the Big Bang and the creation of energy, but I'd by lying if I said having Earth, Wind, and Fire play while my friends and I were on it wasn't enjoyable, and that's obviously there thanks to the Guardians property.

All of that said, good to hear it's moving away from the reservation system. The art of the standby queue is woefully underserved in this day and age.

Thankfully, this ride has good throughput so we shouldn't see FOP-style queues for this.

I'm sure the wait-times will be exaggerated, but if you're inside the building (and there's no backup of LL), you shouldn't wait more than 45 minutes.

But at least we'll be able to reach and cross the special 1000-day milestone for the GOTG VQ!!

I can't imagine it will have one because what will happen to like the singer rider line?

I'd imagine they want Test Track to soak enough guests from the now opened standby for Cosmic Rewind.
