The menu here looks pretty solid. Hopefully the flavors come through from the descriptions. I do fear this will get the "de-creative" treatment sooner than later. But I can hope.

Now how to enjoy it without looking up and having potential nausea issues... 😉

under water pool lights are less intrusive
Yes, and they do very little except in the corners of the pool. Making the underwater lights brighter would block the view as well from the lights being too bright. The pools can get pretty wide!

You can, of course, try to “theme” the lights, but I just don’t think there’s a full-blown alternative to the tower lights.

And then you also have to think that some of the tower lights aren’t pointed at the pool but are for the pool deck. Getting rid of the tower lights would then necessitate the need for a lot of smaller lights, and still some solution for lighting the deeper and wider parts of the pool.

You are not allowed to dive into WDW pools so why do they need to illuminate the bottom. Aren't pool depths marked on the side

"there are actually no diving boards at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel, and guests are prohibited from diving in."

The tower lights have been around for decades....seriously and no one ever complained about it... It is a necessary thing. There are so many far more egregious details to talk about than something that literally HAS to exist for crowd safety. Let's talk about the completely plain motel pool they built next to their new urban mid-rise Fairfield Suites building with Polynesian tattoos painted on the blank walls...
