Some might live in Florida now. My FIL is one of them. Lots of NY/NJ transplants down there. Lots of Yankees gear. Nobody likes the poor MetsI heard a lot of NYC\NJ accents at WdW this past week.

Not as many at home then.I would assume that was the case pre covid too.
Well yeah...the whole point of Florida was to get the eastern seaboard and rust belt down there tax free...to keep the olive gardens and Denny’s afloatSome might live in Florida now. My FIL is one of them. Lots of NY/NJ transplants down there. Lots of Yankees gear. Nobody likes the poor Mets
The Mets don't even get enough love at Port St Lucie. There is really not much to do there except to see the Mets in the spring. Visit Florida during August and Sept is a big gamble. It's the peak of hurricane season. Sixteen years ago this week Hurricane Charley destroyed parts of Orlando and Kissimmee with a Cat 3 Hurricane. Some might live in Florida now. My FIL is one of them. That’s for sure. AZ gets the retirees from the Midwest. No idea why that is.Some might live in Florida now. My FIL is one of them. Lots of NY/NJ transplants down there. Lots of Yankees gear. Nobody likes the poor Mets
Oh I don’t believe that travel has resumed to Florida but this is the slow season anyway.. We’ll see what happens this winter when people need a break from the cold. Not as many at home then.
You can believe that travel has resumed to Florida...I’m not there.

The mask situation in Disney is much different than the mask situation anywhere else in public, even in Orange County where there's a mandate. Many, many counties in Florida don't even have an order.

Yeah I get that I’m just not sure they pick here over Florida. People from the northeast seem to be more apt to move to Florida.Get away from the winters?

And plenty of snakes in the grass. I'm no fool. I walk on the sidewalks and not on the grass so I can see those snakes from a far crossing in front of me.Alligators

What I wouldn’t do for a cold blast right now.. maybe 6-8 inches of snow. Some hot cocoa and a good book, or thread to read. Thanks a lot for making me go down that road in this heat up here.Snow!
I'll pass. Lived through it when I was younger. Enjoy. What I wouldn’t do for a cold blast right now.. maybe 6-8 inches of snow. Some hot cocoa and a good book, or thread to read. Thanks a lot for making me go down that road in this heat up here.
